简单思路：

既然"given that the student has failed the course"就说明已知该学生fail.问fail的学生中"human resources"的概率。所以5/15就好了。

GMAT的数学一般情况下不需要用太复杂的公式。

P( H/F ) = P( H F )/P( F ) = [P( F/H ) x P( H )] / P( F )

We know:

P( F/H ) = 5/35; P( H ) = 35/80; P( F ) = 15/80,

Therefore: P( H/F ) = ( 5/35 x 35/80 ) / 15/80 = what you are expecting 1/3

看不懂，P( H/F ) 和P( F/H )是什么意思？P( H/F ) = P( H F )/P( F ) = [P( F/H ) x P( H )] / P( F )是怎么回事？
