[备考心经] 我的GMAT經驗 GMAT 770

剛剛看到YY_lalala希望我寫點我的經驗那我家寫點吧。

• 1st attempt 660 M49 V31 AWA 4.5
• 2nd attempt 770 M51 V44 AWA don't know yet (should be 5~6)

基本上我第一次考其實有690~710的實力；可是我考前整個禮拜每天都失眠所以基本上是是迷迷糊糊的在考。

As a result, my AI essay was completely off topic on my first attempt and I didn't even notice it until I was writing my conclusion. Luckily, I didn't get 700 or 710 the first time around, otherwise I wouldn't have continue my GMAT and get 770 on my second attempt.

所以說一戰失敗不要放棄，要繼續努力：

Anyways, my study has been pretty similar to everyone else.

• did Kaplan Premier 2006 first
• Kaplan 800 second
• then do OG second ( I used OG10 from my sister gave me)
• GWD did about 18 of them (verbal only)
• GMAT Prep
• Manhattan GMAT - www.manhattangmat.com

基本上我覺得KAPLAN的教材很差

I did not improve much from it. 即使GMAT800也沒什麼進步. Their strategy suck. There is really not much strategy to use, you just have to answer every questions to the best of your ability.,

SC was my worst section on verbal until I read GMAT語法改錯精簡 by 劉振民

It's the best SC book I've ever encoutered and it shot my SC accuracy rate from 75% to 90% on those GMATPrep SC questions.

so I highly recommend it if your weak spot is on SC.

Another material that I highly recommend is the online practice test on www.manhattangmat.com. It is not free, however.

Honestly I think they have the best practice test after GMATPREP and GWD. It's online test is much better than Kaplan and princeton review at measuring your true score.

Their Math section, however, is much harder than that of GMATPrep but it helped me bumped my Math from 49 to 51.

Their books are so so, so I wouldn't bother buying those.

谢谢你提供的网上测试的信息。我在美国，现在没题做了，也想试试。我有些问题1.测试象PREP那样准确吗。2.一共是几套题。3.答案部分有解释吗？4.购买后题目只能是ONLINE作，是否能下载。
