My questions are mainly focused on SCM.

For those admitted to Supply Chain in Broad, do they hold the supply chain pre-MBA experience?  Is there any cased for technical background applicants to be admitted to SCM in Broad?

What about the work the SCM students got after MBA? As far as I learned, GM and Ford are the main empolyer of the SCM students in Broad because of the advantage of geography.  Since currently the auto companies are all in toughest times, what is the situation about the SCM students finding jobs?

1 for the pre-MBA experience, there are quite a lot of technical background applicants,  especially for India students, maybe more than half

2 For the Main employer, it might be true that GM and Ford are the main employers a lot of years ago, for the last several years, it is not the case, actually big 3 have been in trouble in the U.S. for a long time.  For 2008/2009 chinese graduates, a lot of them went to or got offers from technology companies(e.g Microsoft), energy related companies(Chervon, FMC technology) , consulting firms(A.T. Kearney) and manufacturing (Cummins), quite diversified industries.  But it is true it is harder for 2009 graduates than for 2008 graduates due to current economy.

application submitted late of last Oct, interviewed mid. of Nov. and admission offer was notified on Dec 23rd.

Here I have few questions regarding financial award, since I am still waiting for that to make the final decision.

What about the situation of financial award in the last year, especially for students from China? For now, anything else I can do to increase the possibility of being financially aided? Roughly by when and how will the decision of finanical award be done?

For the financial award, it really depends,

got graduate assistant position, cover all tuition and get several hundred from school with 10 hours work per week

Scholarship cover up to full tuition without any further work or other requirement

No financial award.

For the timing, some got their financial award decision together with admission, some got that later
