北京的Michigan Admiter收到包裹了吗？

同志们都不需要参加那个什么暑期英语班的吗？怎么这么要求我，哎。还有资金证明作一年的还是二年的好呀？时间这么紧，我都快急死了。。。

我得pachage里面好像也没提到ELIprogram, 建议你最好直接打个电话去问问, 把你的难处(签证手续等等)和admin的人好好说说, 没准儿就能有些改变.

I want to listen to your opinion, I am still waiting for the result of wharton and NYU. wharton ranked topper than Michigan and NYU has a better location, so michigan seems to be a little bit embrassing to me.

if you get W, then W is a no-brainer. no matter what u want to do after mba. that's my opinion, btw Philly is very much like a tiny NYC. so if you are into city life, Philly is not bad.

then for NYU vs. Ross, i guess it depends on ur career aspiration post-MBA.

but generally speaking, i would prefer Ross over NYU.

few reasons:

1. ranking. overall Ross is better than NYU, if you care about ranking. but if u want to do finance related work, than NYU might be better.

2. other than finance and its location, NYU is not at the same level as Ross.

3. i hate NYC, but that's again just my personal opinion. my sister graduated from Columbia and she liked NYC a lot.

try to enroll in some credited english course this Spring in China? where are you right now leafye? beijing, shanghai, ...?

may want to get a brochure from the institution offers the english class, send/fax it over to Ross, tell Ross your problem of getting ann arbor early etc. and ask whether you can substitute the ELI with local english class... good luck.

I am in Beijing right now. Actually I don't think myself need an English class to enable me to accommodate the MBA study in Ross, after all I got a bachalor's degree in techinical English from a famous University in China. I just have not enough time to prepare for GMAT since I am fully engaged in my busy work last year.

Anyway, after I check with mengdan, I will argue with the adcom. Just have a try, if I fail, I hope I could have enough time to be ready.
