Hi, I am wiriting to ask for you guys' advices.
I lost in a trap set by myself. When I did the interview with an INSEAD alumni, he asked me what is my first choice between Wharton and INSEAD. I told him that INSEAD is my first choice. Then INSEAD gave me an offer two weeks earlier than its final decision date(Mar 18th) and set a very close commitment deadline which is earlier than Wharton's final decision date.
I was required to pay the non-refundable commitment fee (4k Euro) before Mar 23rd. However, Wharton's final decision date is Mar 24th.
I don't want to give up INSEAD now as it is very risky to be admitted by Wharton although my performance in interview was very well and the Wharton alumni told me that he would submit a very positive interview report to Wharton.
Could anyone share his or her experience on how to deal with this kind of situation? Is it possible for Wharton to make an early decision? (just one or two days before the final decision date)
I would very much appreciate your help. |
