GPA就算了，之前已经刷过一些了，现在就想着怎么把托福考到80了。

现在已经把课余时间全放在托福上了， ...

The reading passage explores the issue of vessels. The professor's lecture deals with the same issue. However, she believes that the vessels were used as electric batteries in ancient times, which contradicts what the reading passage states. And in the lecture, she uses three specific points to support her idea.
First, even though the reading suggests that vessels would have been attached to some electricity conductors such as metal wires if they were used as batteries, the professor argues that vessels are not necessary to be discovered with attaching things. This is because they were found by local people and they could ignore the attaching things by the reason that they did not recognized them. Obviously the professor's argument disproves its counterpart in the reading.
Moreover, despite the statement in the reading that the copper cylinders inside the jars look exactly like copper cylinders discovered in the ruins of Seleucia which were not used for generating electricity, the professor contends that it can not prove anything. Then she supports this point with the fact that they could be used as another purpose meanwhile used as holding scrolls.
Finally, the professor asserts that ancient people could do many things with electricity thatthe vessels whereas the author of the reading claims that there were nothing ancient people could do with them. The professor proves that this claim is indefensible by pointing out that ancient doctors could uses electricity thatthe vessels to treat muscle illness.
In conclusion, the professor clearly identifies the weaknesses in the reading and convincingly show that the centeral argument in the reading, the vessels were not used as electric batteries in ancient times, is incorret.

topic: young people nowadays do not give enough time to help communities

As the development of the society, everything are changing around us. Some people find that young people nowsdays help their communities less than before. It is sad but true. From my point of view, young people do not give time to help their communities because they have too much academic pressure and prefer to stay at home.
First, young people do not have enough time left after they finish their academic mission. It is wildly known that students nowadays are under more pressure than before. They have more courses to take and more homework to finish which can be seen by their heavy schoolbags. Based on this, they have so little time that they even can not do what they are really interested in. So how can we force them to spare time to help communities?
Moreover, beside the limited time, there is another important reason that young people prefer to stay at home. Why? On one hand, they do not have the time that long enough to go outside. On the other hand, they are stuck with their high-tech things like smartphones and computers. Using smartphones to check emails or twitter needs just a little time and using computers allows them to meet their friends at home. Therefore, young people can do almost everything in their homes. Sadly, they maybe do not even know who their neighbours are so that the fact that they do not give any help is not surprising any more.
Undeniably, there are still some young people that are willing to give time to helping their communities, but it is convincing that most young people are not. With little time and those high-tech things, young people become more and more coldhearted and are less likely to give help to their communities.

妈呀，我还没开始复习作文，自己一篇文章都没写，我不敢给你乱改啊！我是5月考试，刚复习完阅读和听力，这个月是口语，下个月是写作=。=

你之前应该考过托福的吧，给我个大概的分数吧，能不能有20分。。。

综合写作我还得去看原文听听力，实在没时间，不过我看了内容，大概会有fair的分数。
独立写作你一定会是limited，首先你字数太少，整个文章的框架也不对，要么三段式要么五段式，而且逻辑有漏洞。句子有一些语法错误。
综合下来总分不会上20，估计在15-18分之间。

不好意思，真是麻烦你了。但是周围的人中就我一个要出国所以准备托福的，也没有别人可以帮我了，所以只好继续麻烦你了。。。

能解释一下什么叫三段式什么叫五段式吗

逻辑的漏洞指的是什么呢

虽然我确实没有时间一句一句帮你改，因为我每天也有一堆任务我也要疯了。
不过可以帮你看看文章框架和思维。
一般议论文是分3段或者5段来写，除了开头结尾，中间要么一段要么3断。托福最好是写5段，中间3个论点。
你要先写论点，再论证，再论据。托福作文类似八股文，是有一套行文规定的。不能乱写。
字数最好400+  要不这样，不知道你去过一些专门的托福论坛吗？比如TPO小站和**，那里面资料超级多，还分的有很细的板块，关于作文有很多高分模版，你可以去那里找找。

今天终于考完了，感觉很累

刚进场的时候紧张得要死，第一篇阅读磕磕绊绊，好在最后都按时完成了。整体来说算正常发挥吧。

唉，不多说了，再说感觉就像给自己立flag了。。。
