You think too highly of me haha. I just know internship and entry level jobs recruiting more cuz I ...
Congrats, I know Fin Econ is an awesome program. And yes, I have been networking extensively recently and have talked to several dozen people. And I feel that Columbia does do better than Cornell in terms of cold calling/emailing results. If I just want to get a finance job (either boutique banks or AM firms) in NYC I'll definitely choose Columbia. But what I am not so sure is about the chance for landing on a BB offer. I heard the HK recruiting results of these two programs are pretty similar. But since BBs in the US recruit mostly from target schools' on campus recruiting events, I feel like Cornell students may get a better chance due to much smaller class size.
Many ppl told me if I am confident, determinant, and willing to network aggressively then I should go to Columbia, so it's really a hard decision to make. But anyway, thanks for your insights and wish you success in your future career. |
