Prep 07 1-68题，到底是after being还是after pounding

今天彻底被这个after后面跟的ving形式弄晕了，而这题问的人又极少的。。。所以，求指教！！！

题目：

For the bestextraction of the flavor of saffron threads, it should be soaked in liquidafter being pounded with a mortar and pestle.

(A) For the bestextraction of the flavor of saffron threads, it should be soaked in liquidafter being pounded

(B) To bestextract their flavor, saffron threads should be soaked in liquid after pounding

(C) The best wayto extract the flavor from saffron threads is soaking them in liquid afterbeing pounded

(D) The best wayto extract the flavor from saffron threads is to soak them in liquid afterpounding them

(E) The flavor ofsaffron threads can best be extracted by soaking it in liquid after pounding it

我看的prep07版的解释，只说跟after ving这个东西有关的，如下：
(A) being pounded中being多余
  （为什么多余？前面不是被动语态吗？好像being正确的用法中就有被动语态的分词形式吧。）
(B) after pounding应该使用被动语态pounded,因为saffronthreads不能主动用mortar和pestle去搞烂,而是被mortar和pestle搞烂
  （我想问，有after pounded的这种用法么？）

after being pounded 有两个问题，
一是啰嗦， 不如 after it is  pounded简洁，并且主语相同时 it is 可以省略，就是  it should be soaked in liquid after (it is) pounded.
另一个是意思不清楚，being 表示进行,正在称重过程中，实际上应该是称重完成之后，非要这样用也要是 after having been pounded,就更啰嗦了

没那么复杂，这里after后面就是加doing。
明确一件事儿：threads是pound的受动者。所以 threads作主语的时候，应该是be pounded。
way做主语就应该是主动做出pound的动作，不用被动。

那么是可以说成是：it should be soaked in liquid after pounded ... 喽？
