其實我覺得standford business school雖然最強不是finance, 但是其實也很強的.
問題更是其氣氛......... ...

不过斯坦福我录的项目是computational finance不在商学院下 在institute for computational and mathematical engineering下面－ － 而且确实这个项目毕业的人很多甚至最后没在金融业工作 而且我也确实更喜欢cbs的课程设置

it is indeed good that a computational finance program is hosted under a non-business school.

環觀全球眾多top MFE program, 過半數都不是hosted by business school (我想到top的businss school MFE只有CMU (but all know their CS department), UCB, and (warwick, cambridge, UCLA) if one counts them too)
this is kind of a hint that how techniqal skills, and more important the mindset and enviornment behind are for a technical role in finance.

你说的很对，一个教授跟我说的这两个项目的区别在于我的兴趣是什么 "Do you want to be a computer scientist who work in finance or a well-rounded finance person who is also good at programming?"
