有关that引导的同位语从句和定语从句的区别？

觉得这两种很容易混淆啊，特别是把二者放在一起考的时候：

89-08-15. Anthropology is a science __________anthropologists use a rigorous set of methods and techniques to document observations that can be checked by others.

(B) that in

(C) that

(D) in

答案：A

95-01-35. Alchemists had the idea which by applying chemical vapors to base metals they could create gold.

答案：A.

98-08-31北美   In the early twentieth century, there was considerable interesting among sociologists in the fact that in the United States the family was losing its traditional roles.

that引导的同位语从句和定语从句的区别是：

1，that在同位语从句中不做任何成分，它是从句的全部。

2，that在定语从句里必须要做从句中的一部分，不能是从句的全部。

第一个题，in that=because, 不能用that ,因为不能等价，够不成同位与语。选A最合适。

第二个题，后边的从句完整，先行词是idea,应该考虑同位语 和关系副词做从句状语，which->in which

第三个题，that引导同位语。interesting->interest

同位语从句属于名次从句，自然不能充当定语成分。如果用that，那就形成定从，你看看意思，也明显不正确。

95-01-35. Alchemists had the idea which by applying chemical vapors to base metals they could create gold.

去掉which，否则从句中没有谓语。

答案：A.

98-08-31北美   In the early twentieth century, there was considerable interesting among sociologists in the fact that in the United States the family was losing its traditional roles.

答案：A.

interesting是adj.这里要求用n.,fact做that从句的先行词也就是修饰到底是什么fact。

不过，that引导的同位语从句和介词+which引导的定语从句，感觉很难区别啊，比如上面的第3句

in the fact that in the United States the family was losing its traditional roles. 可否改为 in the fact of which in the United States the family was losing its traditional roles.
