Sorry I have not used QQ for six months. You can message me through chasedream. For international students, their background is very diversified. Some came from Africa, some from Europe, some from Middle East. But in MBA Co-op program, there are usually only 4-5 international students in these two years including international students from other countries. In these two year, all students in MBA co-op program found co-op. Usually for first year international students, there is a high chance that you will do coop in ministries. But in the second co-op term, people found very good placements such as GE, capital market group in banks. There will definitely be mock interview. But trust me, if you only rely on the mock interviews, you will be dead when facing real co-op interviews.

感谢前辈,那MBA相较于MSF,是不是录取难度要大一点,因为好像MSF大多数都是中国人。 ...

Both of them are very hard. You need luck to get into either one of them. For MSF coop, they only admit 10 students a year as well. And when they are screening candidate, they have different criteria. For MBA, they focus more on leadership, organizational skills and experience, internship and work experience (must fewer than 2 years) and your GPA (coz there are 8 courses in the first term, not everyone can learn 8 courses, do four group projects, prepare for 10 interviews in just four months.) For MSF, they prepare students have some academic experience, high GPA.

Any one of them is very good program. First, in finance area in Canada, Rotman and Ivey are tier one. However, Queen, Schulich, waterloo and laurier are tier two. We have the top five highest number of alumni working in investment banking and capital market.(And in job interviews, you can find at least 60% of your interviews are given by your alumni.) Second, you get CANADIAN WORK EXPERIENCE through your coop. I know some students from Ivey and Rotman. Without work experience, it is very hard for them to find jobs as well.

For me, I prefer MBA Co-op a little bit because most of my classmates are local, you don't have to speak Chinese when you working with them. You learn how to work with them because you need to learn how to work with your local colleagues in the future. And MBA CO-OP and MSF CO-OP pay the same tuition, but we have more classes. And I have done capital market internship before and I understand success in capital market demands not only your knowledge in finance and accounting but also different areas of business. So MBA can give me a broader view. But I heard in canada MSF is usually considered to be more valuable than MBA and more technical. And it is easier than Laurier MBA coz MSF only have 5 courses instead of 8 in MBA. So it is up to you.
