我的导师都是在欧洲混的。。。和美国好像真没什么联系。。。
主要我现在特别迷茫，不知道该定位在什么水平的学校。。。大神你觉得如果粗略的以全美综排来定位的话（虽然不是很准），那大概应该定在多少位左右的学校会比较好呢？我现在真是太没谱了，在选校的时候现在前30位只想试一下UCLA（因为特别喜欢这个学校。。），然后选了两个50-60左右的学校（Pittsburgh和Tuland）。前面的学校不知道该不该试一下，主要我还有同时申请其他国家的学校，所以怕申请的太多了推荐人会烦。。。希望能够得到指点，最终能够比较准确的选出5所左右的美国学校来申请！谢谢！

我看不到你申美國的原因.......except personal one.

Nvertheless the toppest finance schools are in US, but as long as you are not applying/going there, the academic standard in US has no differnece with that in Europe.

而因為"我的导师都是在欧洲混的", 在同樣學術水平/難度的學校相比, 你申到歐洲的比申到美國的機會更大 <------- you are likely to be better off to stay in Europe.

申请美国的原因一方面是美国的商学院确实要好过欧洲一大截，PHD in Finance program整体实力相差还是蛮大的。二是奖学金原因吧，英国除了个效仿美国模式的商学院是提供全额的，其他大多数学校都是提供差额奖学金，也就是每年差不多还得自费10W+的RMB。。。
个人原因也有一些吧，但是主要是上面两个原因，虽然可能我的背景会更适合申请欧洲的，但是还是想尝试一下美国，所以希望大神能给点关于选校定位的指点！

1. 美国的商学院确实要好过欧洲一大截 <------ this is true for the top US business school, but definitly not for those at top 50-60, which you can find tons of them in europe.
a 2nd/3rd tier business school is a 2nd/3rd tier, 整体实力of US 根本不關事, maybe except seminar...........at the end is the research ranking of the university your attend matters but not the country.

2. funding is an issue....不過美國的我不熟, wait others to respond吧. maybe some european stuff worth looking into too.....

I dont have GRE score so I dont think I can try economics in U.S....But thx anyway for your suggestion!
