答案是A，我对答案没有疑惑，但是希望可以有人来帮我解释一下BD的修饰歧义问题

首先B,我看到之前的帖子说b中的having有修饰sky was the floor的嫌疑，可是现在分词至于句尾不是应该修饰主句的主语吗。。。这里为什么不能现在分词表示伴随呢？supreme being was EE和having the power逻辑上来说是可以同时发生表示伴随的啊

不过我又看到prep里面有一题选项是这样的The United States, in the Louisiana Purchase of 1803, for about four cents an acre, acquired828,000 square miles, more than doubling the country's size, bringingits western border within reach of the Pacific Ocean. 笔记的解释是doubling和bringing比列修饰主句需要连词连接否则bringing修饰有歧义

请问这个修饰歧义和b选项的是同一种情况吗？

然后D,同样的。。我不是很理解这里with的用法。。为什么这里with会就近修饰floor啊。。。虽然我知道with在gmac里面不受待见，但是还是想了解一下这里的用法

Q1.关于v-ing修饰有两种用法：

1.若v-ing前无逗号，那么是作为noun modifier，遵从touch rule，修饰临近的noun，也就是楼主理解的“现在分词不是应该修饰主句的主语吗”

2.若v-ing前有逗号，那么修饰the entire action of the preceding clause and applies to the subject within that clause，本题B选项就是这种情况。
“having the power to give and to take”修饰逗号之前“sky was the floor”整个action，所以有这个嫌疑。只是纯语法，不要用逻辑来看。

prep里的那道题也是第二种用法，是同种情况，有修饰嫌疑。

Q2.关于with用法
1.独立主格做伴随状语，逻辑主语为preceding sentence的主语，修饰preceding sentence的主谓，谓语，或整个句子。
2.独立主格放在句首表示原因
3.独立主格放在句末表示结果，用法同“comma+Ving 置于句末表示immediate result”
4.遵从touch rule做就近动词的adverbial modifier
5.作介宾短语，遵从touch rule修饰就近名词

本题D选项属于第五种
