如果只申请了一所学校，如何回答...

An adcom from UCLA said that she would question the seriousness of the applicant's commitment on MBA if the applicant applied only one school, because the chance to be rejected is always high.

The real reason that I applied only one school is that I started the whole process too late so I took the gamble strategy - focus all my efforts on one school. I don't think I can tell the truth because it also indicate lacking of seriousness, while personally I believe I am serious. I am thinking hard of how to convince the adcom in interview

Anyone have good idea on how to address this? Thanks a lot!!

在其他的学校网审里面开个头，然后暂时不完成。

这应该不算cheating 吧，呵呵。

如果你确实只申请一所的话，估计将来连VO都会认为你在说假话，呵呵。

我是这么以为的...告诉他们你只想读他们学校的MBA, 别的学校不想考虑, 这本身难道不就是一种serious的态度...相反什么学校的MBA都可以去的话,反倒是对于MBA不那么serious了, 而是对去米国之事更感兴趣, right?

我当年就是只申请了一所学校的, 原因和楼主的一样, 不过面试的时候还没完全决定只申请一所, 所以被问到的时候还是提到了其它学校。给楼主的建议：尽量不要给自己制造不好解释的问题吧。
