关于essay的字数

不好意思没有细看论坛上是不是早已有了该topic了. 关于500字论述一件事的过程包括起因经过结果自己的体会什么的确实有点难.

想看看大家有没有经验说essay说了是多少字还能不能超出一点点的? 纯问问. 先谢谢了

我看好多申master的都说超个10%没有问题，但MBA这边的人倾向于绝对不超，要严格按照人家的游戏规则，我比较信服第二种说法

你超个5个字10个字他们不会去计较 但是问题是 - 你真的有必要超么？如果你500个字讲不清楚 那肯定是你讲故事的方法有问题 sometimes less is more

It is a test of leadership. Part of leadership is to make difficult decisions against rule. So you need to ask yourself: does your story really need more than 500 words? is every sentence absolutely necessary? are you sure your "unique" story is different from most other candidates?

My advice: most essay can be cut half without major impact. Therefore don't exceed word limit.
