去过unc，老婆那边读书。真的。。。。我被惊呆了。。。
unc会计placement，基本都是牛校。我从来没见过那种压倒性的优势。然而翻开那些phd的文章，没多少a pub。看来，top programs在acc领域还是就业保障啊

Indeed. But when you graduate, you really need to worry about the job. Check at their placement.

UNC会计的就业超好，不过placement好的那些研究做的挺好的，placement不怎么样的也有2篇top tier啊。。。。

还有幸去听了大牛mark lang的课，太诙谐了。。。
说实话，很痛苦啊，您知道那种很想接近得到却这辈子没戏的失落感啊

他们好像没公布啊，估计不给力。
不过隐约发现一个规律，澳洲大学acc faculty。。基本上。。。。。。都是本校phd近亲繁殖啊!
这代表什么啊?解决就业?

我觉得lz背景挺好的，人生丰富多姿，而且看得出是有能力的人。你的教育背景里，除了本科的医学不沾边，其余的2个硕士，经济和计算机，都是很加分的啊！祝你申到好学校，加油！

我主要因为觉得会计研究可以凸显些数学的优势，finance数学好的人太多。
不过最终还是要看自己兴趣啊。。。最近看些论文，尽量先确定自己要什么。
说实话，我最喜欢的可能是marketing quant
