So, you can apply to both European and US schools. It will depend a bit on your work experience, but probably in the US, yo should be aiming at schools at about the 15-30/40, and in Europe, you can apply basically anywhere (except maybe LBS which will be tough). One of the advantages of Europe for you is that their classes tend to be older (30 years old on the average) and you will likely fit in better, although at 32 you are not tooooooo old either for American schools.

One final note is that since your goals are to return to China/Asia after your studies, you might want to look into some Asian programs too (like HKUST, CEIBS, INSEAD, the other schools in Singapore)

Thanks Jon. My goal for graduation is to turn to operation consulting from industry where I am now . Do you think it is a realistic goal? With 1 year program in NA  basically is Emory , Kellogg (maybe difficult get in)?

正在申请呢，现在只申请Emory,因为5月就开学了 round 2是11月14号。
也在考虑Insead.. 7月开学！

Hey,
This goal seems to be pretty reasonable. After all, it is an industry in which you have plenty of experience, you only want to change your function, and also find new opportunities! I think you can apply to the one-year programs in Cornell, Kellogg, Emory in the US if you are more interested in US schools. If your application is good enough, you will have a real shot!
