To a new immigrant in Canada, how to get the visa to USA to study MBA? Does anybody have such experience? Please share with us.

of course i am chinese citizen. if i were Canadian citizen, i don't need to take visa.

不知道楼主是否申请旅游Visa，如果是的话，直接在美国使馆网上预约面试时间，然后会收到表格，再去面试就可以了。

我当时就是申请B1签证，理由是去USA做Campus Visit，提交的资料上有美国学校的邀请Email。挺顺利的，但要提前预约，一般提前1个月的时间。

usually you can get your F1 visa in Canada. however, in rare cases, some applicants are rejected. At least I know a Korean was requested to go back to Korea to apply F1 in 2002, and that guy was a new landed immigrant. I am not sure current sitation, but you'd better ask people around. I think you would have no problem. Anyway, it is 2005, not 2002.
