OG答案是E，我没什么问题，唯一的疑惑就是这里的due to和because of的用法
1. 是不是due to和because of后面都必须跟直接原因？（其实我对大家说的直接原因的解释感觉很模糊，因为一个事件是不是另一个事件的“直接”原因，每个人都可以有不同的理解啊。对于这道题目没有什么问题，moisture相比humidity来说肯定算不上直接原因，但是在其他的句子里面，估计就是见仁见智了，当然这里就不谈了）

2. due to和because of本身的用法有区别么？我看了很多国外的帖子，说的是due to修饰名词代词，because of修饰动词，那这样的话本题AB中due to的错误可以用更明确的语法解释，就是这里表原因的词应该修饰was closed，也就是修饰动词，所以不能用修饰名词的due to

简单来说
due to = caused by
它不阐述一个直接的因果关系

becasue/because of 都是要表达直接的因果关系的

这是我在beat the GMAT上看到的：
Meaning - Use of "due to" implies that the closure of chambers was caused by moisture. This is not correct because closure was caused by the effect of the moisture as explained in choice E.

due to 可以表示直接结果
但是只有because 可以表示因果关系

due to moisture 在这个句子里没法表达句子原本想表达的因果关系
这里表原因的 不是名词moisture or 动词
原因是 moisture exhaled by tourists had raised the humidity 整个句子
只有用because + 句子能完整表达这个意思
管理员由于这个原因，决定关闭chambers
但关闭chambers绝不是直接被moisture or humidity cause的
因为大风，阳台上的衣服吹了下来。 这里due to/because 都ok, 因为衣服吹下来是直接caused by大风
因为大风，我决定不出门。 这里只能用because



due to有attribute, caused by的意思。
Due to means"cause by". It shoud only be used if it can be substitued with "caused by".
It doed not mean the same thing as "because of",
Incorrect: The game was postponed due to rain.
Correct: The game was postponed because of rain.
Correct: The game's postponement was due to rain.

E正确不是因为due to, because of,because 的问题，而是意思和逻辑。

大殿关门整修这件事情，是由于什么导致的？不是因为湿气（due to mositure/ becaue of moisture，后面那一大堆是定语，来修饰湿气，但核心词就是湿气一个词)，而是因为人们呼出的湿气使得湿度上升都盐分结晶和长蘑菇了，这件事情才导致关门的。

这是因果逻辑的问题，如果楼主还是不清楚的话，可以这样想：如果因为湿气就关门的话，下雨天湿气也很大，是不是就关门了呀，肯定是因为长蘑菇和结晶才要关门的嘛~~

这个有点超出常识考查的范围。。可以从意思层面上用更好的方法去理解我感觉

正在看prep2008语法笔记（红字部分是出自笔记）

我的问题是将第一个incorrect的句子中的due to变成caused by
The game was postponed caused by rain.这句话有什么错误啊？是caused by修饰有错误吗？含义上也有错误吗？我怎么看不出来。。。。。
