我是2014秋季入学Loyola Chicago University 商学院新生

请问有同期生一起去Chicogo的吗？我最近收到LOYOLA的邮件8月4号有一场seminar关于 “U.S. Culture Adapatation and Academic Success Skills Seminar for International Students”，有人去否？目的是：It will help to give you an "early start" when you arrive at Loyola.  The curriculum is intended to assist both with the cultural adjustment to the United States and with teaching academic success skills which will benefit you during your time in our graduate business programs.  Current international students will also be here to welcome you to Chicago and help to answer your questions, show you around and introduce you to others.

还是大家都等到8月22日开学才过去呢？

还有大家的宿舍有着落了吗？是住学校宿舍还是自己住啊？

介绍一下那个暑期的seminar program：
The Quinlan School of Business International Student Welcome & Success Seminar begins Monday, August 4 at 9:00 AM. We will meet in the first floor of Maguire Hall at 1 East Pearson Street. The program will help you adjust to cultural differences with the help of staff members, instructors, and experienced international students. You will also get to know other new students and learn to navigate the city of Chicago before classes begin.
The cost for this program includes instruction in cultural adaptation and awareness training, as well as academic success skills in:
- participation in classroom discussions
- collaborative group work
- delivering presentations
- reading comprehension strategies
- overcoming language barriers
The cost also includes participation in many social outings.
Students should plan their travel to arrive in Chicago on or before Saturday, August 2, so that there will be sufficient time to get settled into an apartment before the program begins.

收到Loyola录取通知书的孩纸准备去上吗？
