新人求助，技术背景

本人一直在游戏外企做技术，5年了，上海交大计算机专业，GT正在准备中，无领导经验，要申请好点学校的话是不是最近工作应该向PM方向发展？搜了下本论坛，几乎没有类似的，大家的背景对于我来说都是高大上。纯技术申请MBA的是不是极少的，这种背景申请有望吗，我该怎么努力？ 恳请各位大牛给点意见，万分感激。

LZ 有没有考虑过出国读个一年的program，然后寻觅FLAG之流的工作？相比MBA，投入小太多，收入却不低哦~

我的职业规划是企业，管理方向的，想通过读个MBA回国进入互联网或者游戏企业的管理层或者自己创业，通过技术网上爬的实在不容易，而且缺乏相关经验。 一年的Program，不知道您有什么推荐的不？

有些学校专门有开Game方向的master program，NYU就有，可以自己看看。。。具体我真不了解

我是纯技术背景申请的。lz加油，把gt都尽量考，然后根据自己背景定位适当就没问题

Hi,
Of course it's possible to go for an MBA with your background! People go to MBAs from every background, and actually LOTS come from programming backgrounds and without managing experience. So, keep those hopes up!
And the first thing you need to do is what you are doing already - prepare as best you can for the GMAT and the TOEFL and get the best scores possible, because they will help you at this point more than anything else.
If you are applying this year, then you should concentrate all those energies on those tests. If you are thinking about next year, then you can take it a bit easier and spend also energies on more volunteer work and extra curriculars to make your profile more diverse.

个人觉得纯技术背景申请没什么不好，美国这边其实缺的是干技术活的人
但是楼主这两年还是要多往leadership方面发展
要不然履历还是缺乏说明力

你这背景GT考高的话，我觉得top16应该很有戏的

谢谢大家，最近也查了下各个商学院的class profiles, engineer/computer science背景的人占的比例也不少，这下有点信心了，争取把GT考好。
