before the decision was made, i already sent mail to the admission office and told them i strongly prefer interview arrangement to interview waivers. if they can't arrange interview now, i'd be willing to wait. but seems it doesn't work.

seems that we don't have to worry too much. someone on BW forum got in (R1) with interview waiver.
Dennis, Just thought I'd chime in as a r1 Kellogg admit who also got an interview waiver. If, once they've read your file, they think that they'll get useful information from interviewing you, they'll do one over the phone (which is waht happened in my case). I honestly don't think a waiver puts you at any disadvantage at all.
