Guess by now, LZ has already made his decision to go to NYU.

But here's some info for the fellow applicants:

Among Cornell/NYU/UCLA，除非是真的很愛加州的天氣或者是很想留在LA，還是避免Anderson選其他兩家吧。People in the West (especially SoCal) usually compare Anderson with Marshall (FYI, UCLA & USC are rival schools).

Even Anderson is "strong" in Finance, but mostly in Corp Finance as there're not even many IB positions in SoCal region anyways. Most of the Finance people I know from Anderson either work in Corp Finance in entertainment business (Warner Brothers is a big recruiter in LA), or move to SF for IB-kind-of jobs where you compete with Stanford and Haas kids.

Bottom line, I feel like Anderson is a "mellow" program for people who are not aggressively looking to make big $$$ out of MBA.

I know some UCLA MBA grads in China and have been doing really well and making lots of $$$...i guess it all depends on the individual
