140. Groups or organizations are an important part of some people’s lives. Why are groups or organizations important to people? Use specific reasons and examples to explain your answer.

When it comes to an issue what part of people’s lives is important, depending on personal experience, some people prefer to stay alone, but others, in contrast, deem that groups or organizations are an important part of people’s lives and that is also my point. There are numerous reasons for my attitude, and I will explore three of them as follows.

To begin with, the main reason why I agree with this statement is that as a member of a group or organization, one can learn something that he does not know from others. For example, I was a member of the university fundraising team and we planed to hold an activity to raise the money. My job was making the flyer by using the computer. However, at that time I did not know how to add the picture into the flyer. My teammate knew the technical and taught me, so I solved the problem and learn from him.

Furthermore, one may know what the sprite of teamwork is and how he should get along with others. Take a case of play basketball. As we know, the basketball game is a teamwork, and no one may win the game without his teammates’ help. However, everyone is a different individual and it is inevitable to have a conflict with others, so the athletics should learn how to get along well with each other and that help everyone play a main role on the basketball match.

In addition, what is worth noticing fact is that the activities organized by groups or organizations can add color to one’s life. For instance, some one is a good singer, but he is afraid to sing in front of the public. Chorus, groups of singers, can resolve the fears because he works as a member of groups. This really increases the opportunities of his activities and makes him fun.

In a word, being a member of groups or organization, we are able to learn the new knowledge, know the skill of communication and make the life colourful. From what I have discussed above, we can safely come to a conclusion that groups or organizations are an important part of some people’s lives.
