When you pass the CFA, you want another CPA because people always want more to show their competitiveness. Certificates seem to be the only thing Chinese students care about. Being competitive is not about getting lots of certificates. You should try to know yourself and search your interest during your internship. Plus, CFA is not necessary for IBD or commercial banks.

This is really depends on the personal preference and I would suggest to follow you preference since backing up yourself in the long run is always a good forwarding thing.
