I applied for Simon Round 1. Interview was conducted at the end of last December. Their decision day for Round 1 is 15th Feb, 2005. But Simon has sent me email to admit me yesterday.  Maybe you apply for Round 2 and April 15 is their decision day for Round 2.  By the way, I only got 15% tuition waive from Simon.

My background. G:720, T: 277(647)  4 years working for Top3 high-tech company as IT engineer in Europe.

I am considering the offer from Maryland and Simon now. And I have done the telephone interview with Minnesota and alumi interview with Cornell, and will do interview with NYU.

Dinged by Chicago and Yale, waiting news from Columbia.

personally I think Simon is better than Maryland because I heard from businessweek that Maryland was ranked 2004 the worst 3 schools for job offering nationally. Unbelievable. I didn't know if they imporve this year. I wish I can hear more inside from Maryland.  

I got admitted by Simon too. but I had no response from NYU so far. I think I am out.

Simon is very strong in Finance. If you are interested in Finance, welcome to join Simon. We can be classmate !

Hi, I wonder whether the admission committee contacted you in advance to schedule the interview. One friend told me that Chicago called him and conducted the interview without any notice in advance.

The admission committee do contact me before conducting the interview.

I don't think sudden-interview is fair for our applicants. Actually, I don't like such manner of some top universities. For example, NYU promise me an interview but they told me they cannot give me telephone interview chance, I have to visit their campus or visit their world-round off-site interview events, which means I have to travel to London for just 30 minutes talk.
