我想说的是，LZ应该明白，这里having在这里应该是作状语，因此它必须与主句主语intricate structure 相一致，这样就造成了句子的错误，所以B选项不正确。

而第2题中，a pioneer journalist不是状语，只是个补充成分，补充说明了前面的NB。

所以，总而言之，LZ需要加强基础语法。

你误会了 我指的是a pioneer journalist 补充了 NB

这道题我重新说下我的理解，为什么having修饰的是stucture而不是insect eye.
因为这里是S, V+ing, v o 的结构。V+ ing 不管是NOUN MODIFIER 还是verb modifier， 它必须applies to the SUBJECT.
这也是E种的with为什么可以修饰到structure的原因，因为前面有逗号.

而19题的逗号后的修饰是APPOSITIVE PHRASE，修饰preceding noun

1. 无论是“having……”还是“with……”都是在逗号后面做“structure”的同位语，不影响整个句子的主谓宾结构；
2. 主语是“structure”，谓语应该是单三“helps”，“assume……”引导的从句里的宾语代词用“it”指代前面的“structure”；选 E。
3. 用主谓宾（宾代）一致的原则，可以将“help和it”/“helps和they”乱搭的ABCD选项排除。只有E选项的搭配是一致的。
