jason13920 and soimfriend, I had an interview with Ella in November right after the MBA fair. We had a warm discussion, nothing special, actually she didn't ask anything challenge to my point of view. Just casual chat. The interview lasted about 75 minutes and she said nothing but "looking forward to reviewing my application..." stuff. background I am typical of most other Chinese applicants. My profile: 740GMAT/610TOEFL/6-7yrs of working experience in different industries/part-time working with four different NPOs as volunteer/undergraduate degree with a major in accounting, GPA3.0...just above average profile...and you should have confidence to apply. process Nothing special, take about 2 months searching the web site for b-schools, another 2 months drafting and editing essays( I had several native speakers, some of them language teachers, fine-tuning my essays. but I write essays all by myself.) mail the application and wait. It roughly takes 45 days to get the result. One most important tip I could share with you is "be yourself". I write my strength as well as my weakness, do not expect you to be super-genius or Mr."Know-all". I stressed my personal background and social commitment to be volunteers in my additional essay. Besides, I had a clear picture ahead-to work as a consultant in Canada as a landed immigrant. if you would like details, please write me: thomas_lu7496(A) hotmail.com |
