lz, I think your GPA in Finance is too low. With such a GPA, no school will admit you.
I think from now on, if you still want to apply for MSF, I guess you you should stop submitting the transcript of your minor Finance. But at the same time, try to include more description of your finance background in personal statement and CV to increase persuasion. Also you should apply to universities that accept students transferring their majors, because obviously you are transferring from journalism to finance.
Otherwise, you can consider transferring to accounting, management, and other programmes which do not require strong mathematical backgrounds. It is very likely that you will be admitted to top 30 US universities.
Besides, you can consider Canada and UK amongst other countries. LSE, Cambridge and Oxford will be good choices if you opt for UK, but it is hard to find a job there. If canada, university of toronto, ubc, McGill are all good choices, and Canada is more immigrant friendly than other countries, I guess.
