one more comforting news!  all the admitted will have opportunity to get up to 59K swiss franc loan without needs for cosigner.  hope this complements the previous reply on financing.

We have 20% female candidates here. No significant difference for female graduate in term of job hunting. The Chinese lady graduated last year is now working in Swizterland.

Be sorry and please forgive me if my quiry is inappropriate and goes too far.  Could you reveal that which company the lady works for and the position she holds now?  Further, a detail story: if the program is 10-month, how long the register permit grants to u in order to study in Schweiz.

the lady we mentioned works in Nestle as senior marketing manager.  we actually will meet her in school in a week..when we have our interim exam done!  

you will get a 1 yr permission B after arriving lausanne,

I have more than 7 yrs of a fortune 500 compny of management experience, but I did not take GMAT until now, if I apply now, could I enter this year ?  I think the time is not enough.

If you can get everything done before June 1, it's not too late. However, any one who applies after april 1 deadline has to fly to Lausanne for interview. Theoretically, you can still make it in the Aug 1 and Sep 1 round. Very limited spaces for the last two rounds though. Good luck.

I attended the shanghai information session on Mar 16th. It is great experence to talk with alumni. But I got one question: they said even chinese students can easily secure the average salary ( around USD 120K) after graduation, is it true? or just kind of promotion words?

hi, with the risk of over-optimistic (still in the process of finalizing the CV for the coming August-October recruting season), i would say it is possible to land a post-IMD job with the pay range you mentioned.  For perspective, the 12k is average for IMD and can be higher if you are attractive asset to the recriters..here your past professional expereinces count also!

Chinese students are highly valued in IMD given the sino-Europear economic honeymone. I personaly met a few european businessperson that all they wanted to tell me was "china, the future".  therefore, as chinese students we actually can leverage the background and negotate for a better deal!

having said this, the job search will still ask a lot from the each us.. be prepared to work hard and impressive peole... they will be looking for future leaders as you can image.

In fact, I just got interview notice recently. To me, IMD interview sounds extremely challenging, in-depth discussion, impromptu presentation and case study altogether looks a mission impossible, even not mentioned that you have to compete with elites who all succeed from hundreds of applicants. Frankly speaking, I am quite worried during preparation.

Now I know you guys are really excellent cause you can stand out from this fiece competition. Would you mind to share with me some of your experence about how to prepare your interview and how's your learning from this interview? I really hope to learn from you! or you can write to me (ryin@sh163.net)...

my congratulation to the interview invitation. thats a definitely a big leap forward... Also a good reminder to me that how much timing passed since our last interview in Shanghai with IMD.

The interview was more a job like interview... reminder: Katty is placement director as well as admission head.  Naturally she would evaluate ALSO from the perspective of future employers. Having said this, the whole process is very transparent. No trick! show your selling points and allow the other interviewees shine as much. IMD, like many other companies, like people who can lead and enable others as well.
