OG13-009我的思路好像有点不一样~求小伙伴指点！

我看了很多大家问的这一题，但貌似没有人和我有一样的疑惑= =
我关于这题的疑惑点是OG的解释中开始就说这题的逻辑意思显然是比产量，而不是比吨。
可是我在做题的时候觉得有可是是比产量，也有可能是比吨，所以根据LESS的话那后面应该是比产量的，FEWER的话可数就是比吨的。
A前后不搭配，比的产量THOSE指吨，CD显然和年比了，就剩下了B和E，最后以WORDY的理由排出了E，觉得B显然更优质一些。
请问我这种思路会不会有问题？是不是应该一开始就排除比吨的可能？为什么不能比吨呢？

It's simple:

If you can count it then use fewer, if you can't count it then use less.

Example: I have less talent than you

Here, you can't count talent so you use less

Example: I have fewer oranges than you

You can count oranges right? 1, 2, 3 or 4.....etc 产量和吨都是可以衡量的，所以不能用less

Since rice production is already shown to be countable (41 million tons), you use fewer.

B maybe shorter and not as wordy but in GMAT Grammar > Style. You pick the BEST answer and not always perfect answer.

E is actually not wordy if you replace "that" with "rice production"

Nearly 25 percent fewer than rice production of India's 1978 harvest.

而且为什么OG把它划到Logical predication和diction里。我觉得应该是agreement和idiom啊。
