PS CV 文书修改 续

这次，我的申请文书已经完全改好了，真心觉得这个美国人改得不错，改完后内容和格式看起来都很专业，再分享一些新的感受：

1.控制字数
一般的PS都要求300～500字，开始我觉得多些字无所谓，不到600就可以，但是那个美国编辑说要按要求来，强烈建议我不要超500字，这是她发邮件的话“ There are many who would not look at your application simply because you did not follow the guidelines. I'm not saying that everyone is like that but I've had professors and admissions officers tell me that if I'm not going to bother with their guidelines they're not going to bother with me.”

2.研究网站
她把我要申的学校的program网址全部要去，根据网站的介绍修改每一个PS，这是我们在邮件沟通中她说的“I'm a big believer in "buzz words" which means we'll pull certain key words or phrases from the site description to work into your personal statement. Admissions officers prefer this kind of personalization over generic statements. It gives you a leg up and is such an easy thing to do! This is just one of the tricks I know to help you stick out from the stack. ”

由于我是今年申请，所以现在还不方便把修改过程中的各种版本分享给大家，等申请结果出来后，我可以把我的文书修改过程中的内容贴出来，如果大家需要的话
