Hi there, and thanks for your question. First of all, I would definitely suggest that you retake the tests, both GMAT and TOEFL, in order to become a more competitive applicant. Ideally, a score combination of 105+ on your TOEFL and 700+ on your GMAT is what you want to aim for. Secondly, I don’t think time will be a big issue for you. It is okay for you to study abroad during your junior year. You just need to be able to focus on test preparation during the summer and then finish the tests by September or even early October. Of course, I would also suggest you finish your school research and essay preparation while you are abroad. The best thing about these two is that you can do them anywhere, anytime. Therefore, you will be able to quickly finish and submit your application right after you take the GMAT and TOEFL again. Hope this helps!
