I don't know if you have signed up Kellogg student sharing events in Beijing or Shanghai. I encourage you to attend and talk to more Kellogg ppl. Do the same thing; talk to Booth and LBS ppl to find out more information and feel the chemistry. Nevertheless, we welcome you to join Kellogg. We are a fun group of ppl.
To give you some information/data for decision making (I can only speak for Kellogg):
Kellogg is very strong in consulting, no matter in US or APAC. Existing second year and 1Y Kellogg Chinese students got offers from all three firms, including Mckinsey US.
Kellogg is also strong in PE/VC; 11 students from Kellogg will attend this year's China PE/VC trek (organized by Northern Light VC; 10 China top PE/VC firms collectively select 50 first year MBA students from top 10 schools), outnumbering other schools. Alumni wise, Hony Capital and New Horizon Capital are both led by Kellogg alumni; most PE/VC firms have Kellogg alumni.
Finally, three schools are all great schools. Top schools could provide the opportunities in both MBB and PE/VC, but eventually it all depends on your background, efforts and luck (Yes, luck is important, to be honest). So you will be fine no matter what school you choose, which means that you may consider more about culture and fit. Talk to more students and alumni, and you will figure it out. |
