Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? In order to celebrate major events, it’s better to organize a big party with lots of people than to have a small party where only close friends and relatives are invited.

There is a growing tendency these days for people from all over the world to hold parties to celebrate big events. This problem has raised wide public concern. Many people tend to have unfavorable attitude towards the big-party plan. They claim that young people always go into raptures at the mere mention of parties regardless of the theme of the events. Besides, they also complain that in contrast with a small party, holding a big one not only costs much more than necessary but also may cause a series of dangers, which sometimes involve drugs and fights. But is it really the case? The information I’ve collected over the last few years leads me to believe that in fact celebrating events with a big party is beneficial in many aspects.

To begin with, it is universally acknowledged that to a businessman success is always equate to how many people you know. To achieve your goal in your life, on no account can we underestimate the value of network. A big party serves as a great platform for people to expand their friend circle in a much more efficient way. Therefore, people can benefit more from large parties compared with small parties. An unprecedented annual dinner held by my company-KPMG this year, well demonstrates this idea. During the party, colleagues from different cities were gathered together to celebrate new year’s Eve. According to my team members, the opportunity to trade ideas with people from different culture broaden their insight into the world and help build diverse relationship all over the world.

Secondly, the experience of holding big events has a great influence to sharp one’s personality. As a leader of the party, it is indisputable that he or she has to make great efforts to gather people to the same spot to celebrate one large event. An increasing number of experts from education or institutes are beginning to realize that the endeavor made to hold big events makes one more independent and help cultivate one’s potential for leadership. Lots of investigations show that many elite people have the experience of holding big party at the early age, and this experience greatly enhance their self-confidence and encourage them to be a more successful person.

Nonetheless, a disadvantage of big events is it may inevitably cause some problems, such as traffic jams, conflicts, and sometimes even drugs dealing. It is a matter of fact that more people means more danger. At the time when big events mean even more harmful effects to the society, we need to take necessary measures to keep the safety of people more than ever. The host of large events should bring home to people the value of keeping order and make maximum contribution to maintain the order of the party in the first place. After all, gathering mass amounts of people together is still the best way to convey the ideas of the party to more and more people.

From what has been discussed above, I firmly believe that holding a big party is more attractive than opening a private party in most situations. As long as the authorities take strong measures to minimize unruly behavior in the events, the party will be provide tremendous merits to the whole society.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is more important to work quickly and risk making mistakes than to work slowly and make sure everything is correct.

As the old saying goes, “Time is money.” No matter which kind of job one is devoted to, a serious attitude toward time is always the key matter one should pay full attention to. As soon as the task begins, any delay might account to vital fault. To some extent, high speed means more mistakes. But it does not indicate one cannot finish the whole work correctly within a shorter time. In my opinion, working efficiently and trying not to make mistakes should be best option.

Firstly, when task begins, every minute should be fullly used of. Saving one second means gaining one second. So we should always make a tight schedule and obey to the rule. Finishing all the staff before the deadline not only increase our work efficiency, but also provide us with special satisfaction. This experience will even motivate us to aim at higher goal with high spirit. In this regard, I may refer to my friend Maria, who is working at KPMG Shenzhen office. She was appointed as the in charge of an IPO team last winter. Recognizing that the deadline was unbelievably early, she made a tight engagement schedule right away and asked all the team members to focus on time management. After 20 days high efficient work, they finished all the tasks in time even without making too many mistakes.
Secondly, there is no need to be afraid of making mistakes. Even though you might make plenty of mistakes at first when you start to speed up your working pace, you can  get the opportunity to learn from the past. One will never know what he can achieve if he does not dare to push himself to a limit. But as long as you start to try, you will find yourself getting better and better as time goes on. Eventually, you can fulfill the entire task with even half the time and making no mistakes at all.

Last but not least, one devoted to the work with full intention will minimize the risk of making mistakes. Researchers at China Academy of Social Sciences conducted a survey in 2 groups of students in Shanghai No.2 Middle School. One group of students were been told that they have to finish the exam paper in 30 minutes, while the other group of students were not given a specific  a deadline. In the end, the result showed that the first group of students made fewer mistakes than the second group.

To sum up, when we are being assigned to finish a task, there is no excuse for us to slow down our speed unconditionally to avoid making mistakes. Time is treasure to us and we should cherish it. Concentrating our mind on the work without abstraction in order to diminish the risk of making mistakes, we will become a winner of time.

Is it essential for young people to have the ability to plan and organize?

A man without a plan is like a stringless kite on the air. With no specific orientation, it will fall down eventually. While people with a plan and stick to it will achieve their goals in the end. Successful man always has a clear plan when he is young and follow it to organize everyday life. The ability to plan and organize, therefore, constitutes a critical quality for one to fulfill his dream.

In the beginning, the ability to plan and organize prepares the youth for future academic and career challenges. As you already have a clear goal in your mind, you will have the impetus to strive for it and are less likely to get lost on the way. Planning ahead of time can also prepare yourself well for unpredictable situation and organize your pathway to encounter the difficulties. In this regard, I would refer to my uncle Brown, who is the youngest doctor in our city. When he was a teenager, he was interested in medical science and was eager to be a doctor. But it usually takes long time to finish the degree and years of experience to become a qualified doctor. So he made a clear plan to finish the 5 years study in 3 years and had worked as an intern after school in Beijing Public Hospital for 2 years. He soon got familiar with putting what he learned into practice and became a real doctor after graduated.

Secondly, early experience of planning and organizing helps young people to become a successful leader. As a teenager starts to learn how to plan and organize, he will grasp the art of management eventually. It is the experience gained when they are young helps them to pay more attention to the process of plan and organize before launching a project. The information from China Academy of Social Sciences reveals that great leaders show talent skills in planning and organizing since they are young. That indicates one should master those skills as a teenager to become a reliable leader in the future.

Furthermore, it is true that an essential amount of students are under great pressure of tremendous homework and they usually arrange their daily assignment according to what their teachers tell them. Their life, therefore, already leave no space for them to make new plan on their own. But in order to achieve success in one’s future career life, it is imperative for students to learn how to make a plan and organize their life. Therefore, there is no excuse for any students to shun the most fundamental feature that will benefit them for whole life. Actually, the obstacles teenagers meet when they make plans will stimulate themselves to seek for better solutions and, thus, lead them to be granted as a better planners and organizers in the near future.

In a word, every youngster ought to be well equipped with a number of essential skills, including the ability to plan and organize. No one can foresee what will happen next, but one can made great preparation to overcome those difficulties and move on our life.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is better to take a secure job with a low pay than to take a job with a high pay but is easy to lose.
Today job hunters are granted richer opportunities to select their most suitable jobs. People vary in their attitudes towards the issue of choosing jobs. Many people claims that it is better to take a secure job and live a stable life though it may gain less money. Other people, on the contrary, maintain that nothing can be compared with a challenging and high profit job. As to me, a well-paid and difficult job just equate to my standard of worthy job.

To begin with, it is universally acknowledged that working under the pressure of losing jobs push people to grow faster. There is no doubt that by immersing yourself in an environment you are not comfortable with at first will exert unimaginable beneficial effects to your improvement. During the process of grasp new skills quickly and concentrate all your energy into hardworking will actually stimulate your potential and bring out the best of you. I would refer to one of my friends to demonstrate it. My classmate Jack chose to work in one of the big four company-KPMG after university. This company is known for high mobility but also attractive salary. Even though he had to make great efforts everyday to devote all his time and energy in the audit work to become outstanding among others in order to reserve his job, he eventually become a specialist in only 3 years and worked as an assistant manager now. Whereas other classmates who choose an easier way to work have to work for another 3 years to be equally qualified.

In addition, we can gather huge sums of money in a short period by working in a company with high pay but also high risk. While people take a secure job might take years to get. The fortunes gained enable us to invest in a desirable project we are interested in or help us pursue our life goal. A famous businessman Ma Yun once said all great success comes with risk. That means only when you dare to take the challenge that other people might fear to take can you become the master of your life and create remarkable success.

Nonetheless, some people might hold the view that it is unnecessary to take risk jobs because life is not all about making money. As to me, a challenging and well-paid job definitely does not only mean mass amount of money. It is the opportunity to let us prove our ability. Each one of us should have the confidence to take a high salary job and not be afraid of losing it cause it represents our true price. Besides, this experience will also put you in a favorable position in the future job market as you have caught the opportunity to add value.

In all, I believe that a well-paid job will bring us more benefits than a secure job. We should all have the rights to pursue for a brighter future as long as we have a will and a strong attitude.

Should the government support artists or should artists support themselves?
The whole society has witnessed unprecedented breakthrough in the development of art. It is indisputable that art provides us with various valuable treasures that can't be compared with anything. Art plays an essential role in our life long time and its effects will even prolong thousands after thousands years later. It is a matter of fact that many young artists or even elder artists still live a miserable life as they have no other skills to support their life;many of them have to face the danger of exposure and starvation. In my point of view, the government ought to set aside sufficient amount of fund to cover up their basic need.

To begin with, along with the rapid development of society, people are easy to lost themselves in their high-pressure life. In view of the serious condition of citizens' mental health, the government should the shoulder the responsibility to help people fulfill their mind with art. I would like to give an example of my company. I worked in a consultant firm with high working pace and we had to work overtime everyday. All the colleagues suffered from certain mental disease like anxiety and loneliness. To cheer up the crews, our partner consulted the government faculty and they invited us to the local art gallery and showed us some special modern artist photography. Later we had the chance to participate in weekly seminar about art in our company. After all the efforts made by our leader, we all cured ourselves naturally by the sprite conveyed by the artwork.

In addition, it is widely acknowledged that the creating of art does not always accompany with wealth. Many artists who devote all of their time and energy into art actually cannot afford themselves in this information age. Many great artists have to pay portray of passengers on the road to get paid and thus continue their life. We cannot even imagine what kind of problems they have encountered on their way to pursue art. According to the Chinese XXX, almost 40% of young artists who have the potential to become master in their field give up their dream and bend to the reality. If our government continues to turn blind on this point, it will make a loss that no one can afford.

It is a matter of fact that there are some people who cheat the government as a painter or a photographer to claim the allowance made for true artists. But roughly cut off the whole fund would be crucial to other artists. I recommend the fund department to check the graduate confirmation of appliers and make a rational decision considering this issue. After all, no one can guarantee that among those people there would not be another Van Gogh or Antonio Gaudi.

In conclusion, the government should lay emphasis on supporting the artists and make maximum contribution to help them. Those contribution made by government will eventually lead to splendid art works that shock everyone in the world.
