University of Rochester 罗村MSA面试 [2013-11-19]

新鲜滚热辣，昨天面玩的，攒RP。我的处女面TAT，希望有好消息。

面试官：Eileen Ketchoyian

我面试的时候，面试官能够看到我的画面也能听到我讲话，他说都很清楚；但是我没有办法看到她的画面和听很清楚他在讲什么。挣扎了五分多钟之后，eileen决定她打字，我回答TAT。不过其实也好，因为我看不到她的facial expression反而不会紧张。

然后她一开始就告诉我this is a blind interview so she hasnt read my application yet.

然后就开始问问题了：
1. self introduction
2. my most recent internship experience
3. talk about the charity shop that i founded and detailed information about it (how we kept track on owr volunteers)
   ask whether the running of the shop is challenging for me
4. talk about another inthernship
   the internship was more finance oriented. is this when you decided that accounting was more of a fit for u?
5. why a MSA after undergraduate?
6. what would be your backup plan should you first short-term goal be delaed
7. do you have any ideas about waht you see yourself doing in 10-15 years
8. how did your interest in helping NGO'S develp
9. have you ever traveled outside of China before
10. why did you decide to apply to simon for you msa
11. if you had to tell your future employer what your biggest stregth is, what would you tell them
12. please type out your response to this question in 1-3 sentences
13. do you have any question to ask me

总结：

基本上是常规问题我觉得，必须要准备的一些点都有被问到。有些时候我觉得是eileen她听了我的回答然后对我一些地方感兴趣然后多问一句，然后后面她又会绕回去那些必须问的问题上面~

eileen非常nice啊，最后还听懂了我的笑点。最后我再次道歉说可能是我这边的wifi有点问题，然后我就说it was really nice talking with you, 然后后面又补了一句it was also really nice typing with you，然后就听到耳机那边好像有笑的声音，然后她就说她也是。

整个过程是本来约的应该是22:00中国时间，然后22:01eileen就准时来跟我说ok的话就开始吧。然后调试了大概五分钟吧，然后22:05正式开始，然后一直到22:32打完最后一句话说拜拜。

再次总结：

之前准备了大概26个问题，不过真正面试完感觉罗村的面试真的是抓大方向就好了。必须要准备的内容如下：
1、自我介绍
2、实习经历（一般会挑比较大的知名企业问或者比较近的）
注：一定要在里面准备一下什么地方表现了你的leadership，什么地方是你的challenging time你是怎么解决的，然后还有在你的活动或者实习当中what have you learned
3、why simon
4、why msa
5、strength
6、international experience
7、career goal

我都不好意思说我什么背景TAT，因为我GT都不高，T101，G720，完全不好意思拿出手的水平TAT。。。国内985+211，日语+会计双专业。楼上的同学也收到面试通知了么？什么时候面试啊？
