Do you agree or disagree the rules in societies today are too strict for young people.
With the development of civilization, some people hold the view that the rules nowadays in society are too strict for young people, whereas others may insist on the opposite. As for me, I would like to side with the former people, since generally the rules in today's society go beyond the concept of human nature liberation. I am willing to discuss it by proposing two main reasons.
First and foremost, in education and career, rules in society are forbidden people to exploit ones' potential and realize ones' true selves, thus going against the human's natural development and leaving young people in a circle of the social stereotype. The most obvious example is the simple and gratuitous argument made by our parents- Tom, you have to go to study abroad! Look your brother Timmy, how successful is he studying and working in USA! -We hoax with such naggings, and sooner or later the chatters become common rules that, ridiculously, young people even regard the rules as dreams! Evidently, the internalization values inserted by people surrounding us become the ropes that wrapped us so tight that sometimes we even think we are born in that way. Even if you were lucky enough to graduate from a famous international university in USA, such convention would not let you go the way you prefer, but give you a big hand and a harder push to another schedule: find a stable and comfortable job and stay away from risks and uncertainty. In this case, many young people can hardly achieve self identity and personal development.
What' more, when it comes to friendship and marriage, the rules are equally tight for young people that they sometimes have to rebel original purpose to submit to social rules . One way is the expectations for young people. These rules not only "advise" people to make friends with people from same social class, but also "suggest" them to spend their rest of life accompanied by fellows from similar background. In fact, these rules are not written in lines, nor do them have any physical existence. However, the same content broken heart tragedy happens every day. I can't spare myself from my best friend Anna's romance for long time. She once had a so thoughtful and excellent boyfriend who would call her up every morning and kiss her goodbye after work. However, because of his rural background, Anna's parents refused the true heart and broke two young men's heart. Even though the social rules prevent young people from cross status emotion, who can guarantee that love would not meet you outside of the town?
Today, we have abundant materials and various entertainments than before, but we have fewer chance to share heart and soul with people under the same sky; Even though young people sometimes make mistakes because they are young, they make unbelievable achievements because they dare to break rules and try new; Admittedly, young people need guidance and direction from society, however, enough freedom and choice should given to young gays to choose their future and surprise the world.
The society is advancing too fast to be chased up by human nature. If we only focus on a small area and continue to do what predecessors do, if we fear to share happiness and sorrow with people different from us, we have no choice but to end our life under the stricter rules and endanger ourselves in a world of suspiciousness and indifference.
