Dr. Kang Zhao is looking for PhD students for Fall 2014. His research focuses on social computing and business analytics, including the analysis, mining and simulation of social network and social media. More information be found at http://www.biz.uiowa.edu/faculty/kanzhao/. Students from other related areas are also encouraged to apply. Full scholarships are available (fellowship/TA/RA).
Ideal candidates should be motivated to conduct high-quality research. Solid programming skills and quick learning ability are necessary. Research experience in data/text mining, social network analysis, or related areas is a plus.
