Hi there! Jon Frank here, happy to help. My first suggestion is that you should definitely retake both the GMAT and TOEFL. Your scores are very close to (but not quite at) a higher level. Ideally, you want to get above 700 on the GMAT and above 100 on the TOEFL. Because your undergrad background and GPA is less than competitive, a higher GMAT will be a huge help to your application. If you are interested in applying for entrance in 2014, you are definitely on a tight schedule. Besides getting higher test scores, the other thing you must do right away is work on your essays. In your essays, you need to foreground your strengths, outline a career plan, and clarify your future goals for graduate study and beyond. Ohio State and Tulane might be good options for you to consider, but I would suggest you focus on schools with great locations. Prime program locations make it easier to find a better job after graduation. Therefore, schools like Pace and Fordham in NYC may also be good options for you. Hope this helps!
