没有这个说法耶。。。LZ是哪里听到的。。。。MORE 可以有很多很多的词性。  你说的是 greater than这种只能做形容词修饰的么？

more than在这里怎么解释呢？grew more than？起码要加个怎么样的grew吧，不然是slow还是fast无从得知啊？

动作的比较，grow more than it did，已经比较了啊？需要什么grew呢？ did就是指代grew的助动词啊

他比较的是什么呢？生长？快还是慢么？动作的话怎么比较？

我觉得，是因为 grow跟increase等词语类似，都属于自己就能表达数量变化的一类词，所以本身就包含了“增长"这一数量上的概念，所以应该是指增长的更多。
