Shouldinstitutions actively encourage their students to choose fields of study thatwill prepare them for lucrative careers? In my opinion, students should choosethe major which they are interested in and good at instead of some hot majors.

First of all,students could benefit a lot form studying in the fields in which they are mostinterested. For students, learning the knowledge which they are interested inis a pleasure thing. This pleasure will give them great enthusiasm which willstimulate them to study hard. By paying more efforts than other students, theywill have better academic performance and eventually graduate with honors. Itis expected that their excellent performance in the colleges will give them a competitiveedge over other students when finding a related job in their fields. Doing whatthey like to do will help them succeed more easily in their coming career.

Additionally, alarge number students’ crowding into most popular fields will bring about aserious of problems. Even if there is a large demand for talents in these fieldsnowadays, after several years the gap between demand and supply would disappearand these students would found it is difficult to find a job. Moreover,colleges have to cut the funds on other fields since they need to employee moreteachers and buy more equipment to support increasing courses in these popularfields. It is expected a decreasing number of students and less research fundswill cause a decrease in overall academic quality of the colleges. If eachevent, the possible results may be counterproductive of the original purpose ofencouraging students to pursue the lucrative fields.

However, fromthe standpoint of students, they should take into accounts job prospectssimultaneously when choosing fields. After their graduation, students need tofind a job to support themselves. In some major such as literate or film art,students may need to find a job of other field. For them, it will be helpfulfor them to choose some courses in other fields and develop employable skillsduring their college year.

In conclusion, education institutions should encourage their students tochoose fields of study the students most interested in and simultaneouslysupply some job training for the students who have difficulty in finding a job.

9.7号考试 到现在大概练了20篇 主要问题写得很慢 有些文章大概要四五十分钟 求大神指导

lz你确定4天后考试这个状态真的大丈夫？首先声明一下整个逻辑线除了稍微单薄以外没觉得有什么问题。但是有些小细节不得不说。
首先，空格，单词之间敲空格，如果你是粘贴的时候出的问题当我没说。
然后，用词要准确，比如Additionally那段，alarge number students明显是a large number [of] students紧接着后面aserious of problems是什么？要么就serious problems，要么就a series of problems，你这各取一半算怎样。按说少量的拼写语法错误对成绩没影响，不过我个人感觉这篇文章里这样的小瑕疵过多了。因为太多没法一一列出，自己好好检查一下。
最后，态度。楼主给我感觉最大的问题就是不认真。最后一段第一个词，明明是educational institution，你没明白education和educational在这里有啥区别，没关系，把原题里抄下来就好了，别抄错啊。
我觉得这些小问题加起来如果能解决应该能白拿半分。半分多吗？我也不知道

感谢指点，你起得真早。有些是粘贴出的错误，我最后一个月时间准备作文，一开始写一篇这样的也要一两个小时，这篇是半小时写的，没修改。 想申请的学校要3.5， 我把重心放在Argument上了， 想Argu拿4分 issue拿3分。 这分数确实很渣，但我现在连拿这个都没底。 我现在把高频题都写了20篇左右，还有三天，不知道策略是怎样才能保证拿这个分数， 是多练习30分钟写作，还是把以前写过的多谢谢，熟悉下？ 准备了这一月作文后， 很郁闷， 发现作文不是一下两下能提上去的，不像填空阅读。20多天后还要考托福，作文还要继续练。我不是很想再考两次，总觉得是给自己留后路。你觉得这种作文能拿3分吗。

呵呵，我激动了。我不知道你只要求3分。如果只要求3分的话，我觉得应该不困难。至少我通篇读下来感觉逻辑线还是能连上的。当然只是我自己的感觉而已，不准的。注意减少无谓的语法/拼写错误。
考试的时候注意节奏，别太催自己，要保证已经写出来的部分的质量，你也知道我们写作的时间很紧，基本上没什么时间回来检查的，所以第一次打字的时候少出错效率最高。当然了，考试这事多少总有运气成分在里面的的，考好了当然好。没考好也没没啥丢人的，本来就是给美国人准备的考试，重新考过就是。我也这周六考试，祝好运，请加油！
p.s.你是怎么报上托福的，我的托福都报到10月底去了。
