A study on couples' retirement transitions found that women who took new jobs after retiring from their primary careers reported high marital satisfaction, more than when retiring completely.
A study on couples' retirement transitions found that women who took new jobs after retiring from their primary careers reported high marital satisfaction, more than when retiring completely.
Amore than when retiring
Bmore than if they were to retire
Cmore so than those who retired(correct)
Dwhich was more so than those retiring
Ewhich was more than if they had retired
这句话比较的主语吧,就是women who took new jobs after retiring from their primary careers和woman who retired completely,那么既然是主语与主语的比较,应该加上一个助动词did啊,不然就会产生歧义,变成宾语与宾语的对比,也就是marital satisfaction与woman who retired completely的对比了,所以我觉得这题有问题~~跪求大神指教!!!
其实这题在OG里可以找到原型:OG13-42正确句子:
To develop more accurate population forecasts, demographers would have to know a great deal more than they do now about the social and economic determinants of fertility.
这里因为know这个动词可以用do代替,所以就是你最初说的形式。(注意这里a great deal 是adv.修饰more than adv.,不是know的宾语神马的)
