首先 A 里面的 in the more established industries 肯定就不对，曼哈顿里面专门有个tips告诉我们GMAT会出这种陷阱，比较级不用the，最高级才用the。 你不能说 in the more efficient way， 你只能说 in more efficient way， 或者in the most efficient way。
而且whereas 主要表示，鉴于，反之，然而的意思，although 表示虽然但是的意思， 从这方面来看，这句想表达的是一种虽然这个行业竞争的界限在很多发达领域很明显，但是在互联网领域并不明显，因为.....。 这是一个很明显的逻辑关系。
你就不能说，鉴于。。。。但是。。。，虽然意思上其实不差别很大，但是我认为作为书面语还是有差别的。

”你要是选了B 最后一句就是as competing companies one day may be partners the next 这里我觉得非常不顺“ 这位朋友的理解是非常危险的， 你不能凭借非常不顺去杀死一个答案。

因为： GMAT往往是让你从5个不好的答案中挑出一个唯一正确的，也就是让你在”不太好“和”错误“之中抉择，并不是让你从”最佳“和”错误“中抉择，因为那样太容易。
其实比较难的GMAT语法题目，往往5个选项都不太顺，这时候你只能凭借扎实的语法功底和对句子的整体逻辑把握来做题。
切忌：这个读起来很怪，所以他是错的，这种想法。
as competing companies one day may be partners the next，这句话中， competing 是让我们看起来最不舒服的东西，其实他只是一个修饰成分，做形容词用，如果 competing 换成 rival 或者competitive ，你就明显能看出这是一个形容词。那么这就话就是 A may be B，至少我觉得没有语法上的问题。

其实我没看解析，我也没做过 这题，我只是第一眼看过去觉得选B，希望有NN来看一眼。

我这道题刚选了A，

现在在找答案。

我觉得B “as competing companies one day may be partners the next.”这句话翻译不同，而A里的语义很清楚

A的语义上逻辑更加通。。。我语法差。。in the， 感觉主要还是在强调在什么什么领域，而不是说在做比较。。

这题应该是选B，虽然本人之前是选的A
首先关于in the more established industries的问题，PREP里面有过这样的结构 create more efficient cars than …，这里的more是修饰efficient还是cars？同样这里more established industries也存在同样的问题，more修饰established还是industries，虽然B中in industries that are more established变复杂了，但修饰关系理清楚了。

其次关于competing companies one day may be partners the next的问题，虽然本人做题时用上述理由排除了A，但最后还是因为B中这个句子很奇怪最后选了A（因为不确定哪个是绝对标准。。。）谢谢这位朋友把整个句子打出来，然后我就瞬间读懂了这句话：competing companies (one day) may be partners (the next)。大家难道和我一样，都没发现这句话是如此的对称么。。。？？？所以我认为A，B中as后面的句子其实都是对的，这里不应该是判断的标准

我觉得AB后半句都是对的，但是B中直接是competing（adj）companies显得更加简洁

1)破题点在未划线部分的one day 上

A， companies that compete one day =》one day 形容compete
B， competing companies one day => one day 形容 company

根据语义，是 one（某天）竞争的公司  next（下次）可能会变成合作伙伴，所以one day应该是在定语从句中修饰compete；

根据OG，一般出现将形容词移到名词后面加形容词从句的，都会被判为redundant
