请教一道比较难的语法题，with的用法

不理解不理解，头都搞晕了，B选项中的it is 是指代什么啊？还有with的独立主格结构在这里修饰前面整句话吗？

it 指代one arm，with这里是状语，不修饰整句，只作补充。

谢谢，明白了~ ",with+宾语+宾补"是with的独立主格结构，没有逻辑主语，做状语补充说明。
只是前半句 if one arm is lost it is quickly replaced 感觉好奇怪啊 一个句子里面怎么能有两个主语和谓语呢？

你这个问题从指代，到句式，再到标点 跨度可真是大
是的，条件状语从句在句尾时可用逗号，可不用，但是在句首是一般要用逗号隔开。


但只是上述规则并不是绝对的。当从句句子很短的时候亦可以不用。回答完毕，
