求问！新G阅读36套EX21的第八题为什么选B不选A？？

文章开头第一句话就说了是”One of the questions of interest in the study of theevolution of spiders is whether the weaving of orb webs
evolved only once or several times“。。。。为啥不选A啊。。。。摔！

我一开始也做错了，但是我选的不是A，当时排除A的原因是文章提到的这个quetion没有解决，你看文章的最后一句话有个futher......study of.....will undoubtedly answer the question.....就说明是今后的研究中这个问题才能解决，在这篇文章中并没解决，所以A里面settle the quetion就不对~
文章只是讨论了与这个问题相关的其他问题~
希望你能理解我说的啦

这个是提出问题。文章后面给的是各种假设，提出的问题没有被解决，不能算是 settled.
所以选 B 不选 A.
