TPO15是否应该早点教会孩子使用金钱


There is no denying the importance of financial independence for a adult, then the topic of when to educate our children to manage their money is a hot one. Some perople believe that it is better to educate them from a young age, while others believe that children will learn it automatically when they become adult, then it is not cecessary to teach them this issue. Speaking for myself, it is wiser to teach the concept and way of finacial management to our children at a young age.


There is no denying that it is very important to be financial independent in one’s adult life. Then some propose that we should educate our children how to manage their money at a young age. I believe that it is vital to introduce the concept of money management to our children, but when is the best time requires further discussion.

Children at their young age are just like plain paper and they are eager and easy to learn things.  Unlike their adult counterparts, they have already have their concepts of the world,and they usually reluctant to change. Understandably, when we teach young the concept of using money wisely, they can learn it fast and this idea will rooted in their hearts and remain until they become adults. My nephew Tom is a good example, he is only 4 years old and my aunt and uncle have started to teach him what is money and what money can do. Then last time, when I showed him around the supermarket, my nephew just pointed at a can of soft drink and told me that one can of  

In my opinion, children at a young age refer to those who are still in the kindergarten. Preschool children are too young to understand the concept of money management. Because money management consist of a variety of ideas including what is money, how to use money for shopping, and how to save money and etc. Children in kindergartens may understand what money is if we teach them, but they will not be comfortable to use them until they are older. Because children in this age, just begin to understand the concept of numbers. Although some of them are able to count from 1 to 10, a majority of them still have no ideas how to use addition and subtraction, not to mention multiplication.

Moveover, teaching children the concept of finacial management at a young age help them to form a habit of spending money wisely, which will be extremely important in their adult lives. It is well acknowledge that our behavior is the results of our habits formed in our young age. And once this habit is formed, it is not easy to change it.

In comparison, when children attend primary school, they have deeper understanding of numbers. And after enough practice, they can carry on addition and subtraction confidently. Then if we teach them how to use money in the supermarket, they will feel more confident to shop with simple calculation. After that, if we further introduce the idea of saving money, it will be easier for them to understand and bear in mind. Then we should offer a small amount of monthly allowance to children and let them experience “spending” and “saving”, which in turn will help children understand what money management is exactly.


In conclusion, children should master the concept of money at their young age and gradually master the way of how to spend their money wisely. This will help them to live a happy and finacial independent life in the future.

In conclusion, I believe that children should be teach how to manage their money, but not at a young age, because they are too young to understand the concept of financial management. Instead, the age of primary school is the best time to learn some practical aspects of money spending and saving.

TPO24 学生应该做兼职吗?

How to foster our children and make them better prepared for their future is a hot topic nowadays. Some people propose that one of the best methods is to encourage adolscence to assume a part-time job. I completely agree that this is an excellent idea.

To start with, the experience of  doing part-time job can make our teenages understand how difficult their parents work everyday to support their family. It is not uncommon that nowadays a majority of children donot have a thankful heart for what their parents offer them and they always keep asking for more and have a lot of complains. By taking a part-time job, they will gradually understand it is not easy to be the breadwinner and how much their parents love them. Take my cusin for example, he used to complain why his parents always refuse to buy this or that to him without considering how difficult my aunt and uncle work to make ends meet. Until recently, he stopped complaining because he took a job in a restaurant for washing dish and plates in his summer holiday.

Moreover, taking a part-time job can expand a teenage's horizon and increase their social experience which will be essential  for theri future career. Staying in the ivory tower all day, a teenage can only acquire theretical knowledge. Instead, by taking a part-time job, a teeage can learn how to deal with different people from different backgrouds. In a word, their interpersonal skills can be improved. One of my friend's son was shy and seldom greeted others when others visited his family. however, after he became a part-tim waiter in a restaurant, he has started to say hello to others on his own initiative.

Finally, taking a part-time job can help a teenage to learn how to manage their time, which will be very important for their adult life as well. It is not easy to keep a balance between one study and one part-time job. However, once a teenage learn that if they plan their time well, they can have enough time to finish their homework and earn some extra money for their pockets as well.

In conclusion, I believe that taking a part-time job is one of the best ways to improve a teenage's skill for their future career.Importantly, theri parents should give proper guidence to make sure their children to keep balence between their study and work.

TPO29 教授应该加工资吗V1

How to improve the quality of higher education has become a heated topic nowadays. Some propose that increasing the salaries for university professors in the key to the answer. Speaking on myself, I partly agree with this statement.

Admittedly, professors are the soul of the teaching process. Higher salaries may attract more knowledgeble elites to work in the university, which will be one of the assets of the university. However, professors are not the only ones who are getting involved in the whole teaching process. Others like lecturers, lab technicians also play their roles in the whole teaching process. In order to improve the quality of education, all the personnel's salary should be improved according to their contribution.

Moreover, money should also be spent in teaching facilities, such as books in the library, multimedia facilities such as computer and Internet service in the classrooms and libraries and equippemts in the labs. There is no denying that those materials and facilities also play their parts in the process of teaching. A good case in point is that a professor can deliever his/her ideas more clearly and livefully with the help of multimedia, and his insreased preformance can help their students to understant a subject better. What's more, the modern equipments in the lab offer the students more opportunities to test their hypothesis and apply their theoretical knowledge into application.

Finally, as the final reveiver of the knowlede, the quality of students should not be neglected when we try to inprove the quality of education. As a result, some money should also be allocated in the scholarships to attract more intelligent students.

In conclusion, in terms of improving the quality of education, university should not only increase the salaries for their professor, but also, as a whole, increasing pays for all the staff who are involved in the teaching process. Furthermore, more money should be spent to strengthen the teaching facilities and imcrease the amount of scholarships.
