我用like和as排除后，然后选了C，虽然C有点儿awkward.但是想到D中would和后面will时态不一致，就立刻否决了，结果答案是d

请注意一点。不要轻易根据时态是否符合我们的想法排除答案。
而是要根据句意。

C ejecting表示该动作伴随主句发生的过程。
但是根据句意，实际上太阳成为红巨星后再变成白矮星。
所以C选项排除。
