Seek Advice for PhD in Accountancy

I'm thinking about applying for PhD in acc.

Now still in my undergraduate education in mainland China (211). Majored in accounting, 3.8/4.0(rank 1) and got 740 for GMAT and 109 for TOEFL, with little experience in research.

I was intrigued by lectures given by two professors in CUHK in a PhD course. Reading papers and doing research are self-rewarding to me.

So could you give me some suggestions on programs that I should consider as preparation for PhD, e.g. master programs? Will a finance master program help or just M.Acc?

TJ is not that active in teaching nowadays...but if it is him (even most of the classes are taught by Tianyu or George), try to approach him.

I think so..My lectures are taught by Tianyu and Wang Cong..
