答案d，没异议。但是为什么用were？？a people 是指民族，该单数吧。

20. The Guggenheim Museum in NY city is one of the major center for the collection and display of works of abstract art in the US.

答案a，无异议。但为什么collection,art不用复数？赖的语法中对collection类词讲过要用复数，这里有of works。 art可数，要嘛是复数，要嘛改有个冠词吧

35.One of the most impressive cultural achievements of US during the 1920's was a vastly outpouring of serious literature.

答案如画线，无异议。 可literature是不是该用复数？赖的语法里讲过，serious后该用复数？

答案d，没异议。但是为什么用were？？a people 是指民族，该单数吧。

这里a people还是做的同位语，单复数还是要看dinee的，我像这个dinee就像chinese一样的道理。

collection前面有定冠词了，有没有都没语法错误了。

art，是不可数的，你下载个longman字典吧，单复数各种情况的详细解释。

works of也不能决定art的单复数，你想pieces of paper，paper用复数了吗？

literature是不可数的呀！你看错了吧，我想赖的语法上应该是various，或者a series什么的才是。

分析：one of接可数名词的复数形式。Art应改为arts。

改正： art → arts   请问是答案错了吗

别的解释无异议，不过art的真题遇过2次以上，都做可数解。印象有些深的。谢谢
