In the present-day society, it is generally recognized the importance of being wholesome. However, in this highly competitive era, most people have to sacrifice themselves to make a living. Hence, human will take a wide array of ways to improve their health, such as to eat organism and fresh food at home, to watch movies or TV shows in the evening, to play computer games, or even simply to reduce their workload directly. From my personal view, I prefer to take more exercise to keep fit.
In the first place, the types of sports we can take vary a lot. There are group activities, such as playing badminton, basketball, soccer. Also, sports like squash, jogging, swimming are available as well. Taking myself for instance. Every morning, I will jog around the park in my community for thirty minutes, which really lift myself up. Besides, I keep a habit to play badminton with my father on Monday and Thursday every week. I really feel a lot fun there. What’s more, yoga is the my necessary lesson every night before going to bed. It can calm down my heart and comfort my soul after a hectic day, which helps me totally relax myself and have a high-quality sleep. Therefore, the more diversity the sports I take regularly, the more healthy I will be both psychologically and physically.
In addition, we have to admit the other advantages that more exercises will bring about. Firstly, the relationships with our family and friends will be enhanced. This can be illustrated by the fact that the connection between my father and I is tightened during the process when we play badminton together every week. And some friends in my social circle are made in the gym. We cannot deny that getting along well with family and friends can be beneficial to our mental health. Secondly, a variety of abilities will be facilitated at the same time as taking exercise, including cooperation, organization, handling and so on. At present, I am one of the most popular leader in my class. This can attribute to the development of my abilities when I play basketball as a team capitan with my classmates. Increasing the amount of exercise will help us fulfill our potentials and then we can deal with our works more effectively and efficiently.
Granted, TV dinner and excessive pressure will definitely pose threats to our health condition. Opting for nourishing food instead of canned or frozen food and releasing the stress are equally important. However, in most time, it is inevitable to take some pressure and to eat fast food for work. In contrast, taking exercise is a method that we can totally control.
On the basis of the above points, I believe no other approaches are more appropriate for me than changing the amount of exercise to strengthen my body. However, most importantly, no matter which way we choose to improve our health condition, perverseness is the key.
